Easy transactions through and through. We initially booked a sedan but was upgraded to an SUV at no cost. The car was washed in front of us and thoroughly checked before handing us the keys. We picked up the vehicle at their office so we should have returned it at the same location. But, the guy (Anish was his name, I think) was so kind and considerate that he allowed us to just leave the car at the airport right before our flight - with enough instructions of course. We're so happy we chose this rental over all the other options available in the Vancouver. We'll be coming back soon and contacting you again! Thank you so much for a comfortable time in BC because of your amazing service 🙂

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Hertz that I feel compelled to share. I booked a car in advance, only to find that the office closed *before* the advertised closing time, leaving me stranded without the vehicle I reserved. To make matters worse, I tried calling multiple times over the following days, and not only were my calls ignored, but on the rare occasions someone picked up, they hung up on me without resolving anything.

This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. When you rent a car, especially with a company like Hertz, you expect reliability and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but that. I won’t be renting from Hertz again and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them.

They also rent cars to Uber drivers . So there’s a high chance the car you picked wouldn’t be available. Also the quality of the car would also be bad.

If I had a chance to rate 0 ⭐️that would perfectly describe the experience.

Rented a car from here for my 3 week visit back home to Vancouver and had zero issues. Pick up and drop off were very quick and smooth. It's definitely less fancy than other locations, but I got the car I needed and it was a good price. The car also had the correct M+S tires I needed to travel up to the Okanagan.

Picked up a van, which didn't start right at their place because the battery was empty. The Mechanic jump started it and I drove three days without problems. Then I had to buy a lithium ion jump-start unit for 122 CAD because the battery didn't hold the charge anymore. Also at pick up they tried to withdraw more money as was stated on my Priceline offer. Glad that I realized it and they lowered the price without problems. The van was quite new and perfect apart from the battery issue. Drop off was also easy.

Last week, we had one of the best experiences with a car rental. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, and they provided us with the best car available. I especially want to mention Aneesh, who was extremely helpful and ensured everything went smoothly from pickup to return. I highly recommend this Hertz car rental!

Worst experience that I remember with a car rental company. Employees Ravi and Aanish provided a bad service, and they take zero responsibility for the cars provided. The car reserved wasn’t available when I arrived. They gave me an electric vehicle with 10% battery and told me I had to charge it right away. Pressure of tires was low when I picked up the car. When I returned the car, they didn’t even say hello and started telling me about all potential hidden fees if there was a tire puncture. I told them pressure was low when I picked the car and they turned their back on me and said that I was good to go.

This must be the worst possible place to rent a car. I travel a lot, and have never had any issues, but this place is truly disgusting. I booked through Expedia. My plane was delayed. When I got to the location, they informed me that my reservation has been cancelled because they deserve the right to cancel any reservations if you are 1 hour late. I was there with the wife and two very young kids. The person at the desk did not care at all. He called his manager, spoke in Hindi or some other south Asian language, all while laughing. He was definately taking pleasure in my family's dissapointment. Just absolute trash people all in all. He infomed me that it's the "busy season and we can rent it for more money." There was a similar sized car in the parking lot, which i can only assume was supposed to be the reserved car, but he said that it isn't. Oddly enough, this rental place does not show up in Costco's or CAA's locations for pickups, only on Expedia. I'm assuming because Costco and CAA received many complaints about this place and decided to take it out since they care about customer service. I had to go through my credit card to get a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
