If I could give Hertz at the YYJ airport zero stars I would….

Absolutely shocking. We showed up to the kiosk this morning to be told that there is no car for us despite having a reservation. They sent us to another company next door. The person at the counter was rude, unapologetic and inattentive. They offered no solutions other than to go somewhere else and treated us like 3rd class citizen. We made this reservation through AMA and expected it to be honoured. Avoid this Hertz location at all costs. And by the way, the rate we booked was dubbed a “Manager’s Special”. Well we could not get a manger and we didn’t get anything special: Or anything at all for that matter.

So you claimed 3 months ago you were going to look into this, reply and make it right. Your non response just makes my concerns more valid.
STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

At least stand up for you business without empty promises.

I rented a vehicle from Hertz at Victoria airport and several days after returning the car, was contacted about a rock chip that did not happen during our rental. The handling of the situation by customer service was extremely disappointing. Instead of providing clear communication, all of a sudden, we were contacted by a collections agency. There was a lack of transparency about the process, and I felt that Hertz was more interested in charging me rather than helping to resolve the issue fairly. We are now being charged triple of what a windshield would normally cost when it could've simply been just a simple a rock chip repair.

I would say the experience was lackluster. Everything with the reservation was fine but the customer service at the desk is lacking. Staff seem bored and just want you out of the way. No very friendly - don't respond to chit chat or even smile really. Tried calling numerous times to ask questions about drop off since nothing was told to us during pick up or in the paperwork but you can't get through at all. They also don't check your car at drop off so make sure to take pictures and record the gas and mileage with photos in case they come back and say anything.

Hertz and Hrithik came through large. Flight delayed 3 times in one day. Lost time waiting on flights, tickets and check ins. My wifes vacation for her birthday on the line. Got to Hertz, the car we wanted wasn't available but Hrithik and his team knew how to wrangle a vehicle and have us on our way. For a bad day Hertz CE through, happy day indeed. Thank you Hertz Victoria, thank you Hrithik.

My experience with hertz started off on a shaky note. When I arrived to pick up my rental, there was a mix-up with my reservation, and the car I had booked was not available. Additionally, the wait time was longer than expected, which was quite frustrating as I was on a tight schedule.

However, what truly impressed me was how the staff handled the situation. The supervisor and front staff were genuinely apologetic and went above and beyond to rectify the mistake. Not only did they upgrade me to a better vehicle at no extra cost, but they also provided a future deal for the inconvenience caused.

The car I received was in excellent condition and performed wonderfully throughout my trip. The return process was smooth and efficient, with the staff again showing great professionalism and courtesy.

Despite the initial hiccup, I do understand sometimes the situation is not the same, Hertz managed to turn the experience around with their outstanding customer service. Their willingness to address and resolve issues promptly made a significant difference. I left as a satisfied customer and will definitely consider using their services again in the future.

Since there is apparently no way to contact this branch directly as soon as you leave the country since you can’t call them + there is no direct email address this will be my way of contacting you. We rented a car with you a few weeks ago, it was all good until we had a look at the tires. It was an AWD (license plate SX3 44R) and one tire was different from the others which is a no go we unfortunately didn’t see when picking it up. We had someone take a look at the car and he also mentioned that the left rear tire looked like it got damaged and repaired at some point so please have a look at those two tires (left rear and the one which looks different) and change all of them so everyone driving it is safe

I can't thank Yash and Hrithik enough for helping us out with our rental. We needed a vehicle for a month, and needed to extend our time a week and change our drop off location. Right from the beginning, they were extremely kind, understanding and accommodating. We were able to make the necessary changes without any questions, hassle, or extra fees. The extra week fee for the vehicle was very reasonable. They were even able to offer us a variety of other options at a very fair rate when we noticed the one I had reserved would be too small. We are immensely happy with our ride, and it couldn't have happened without Yash and Hrithik's guidance and support.
