Worst experience with Hertz Rental. The first car provided was extremely dirty from outside blocking safety sensors, got the car changed and drove to Portage, only to realize that the rear tire was at 10 PSI (picture attached). I was on work related travel with a busy routine, there was no time to return the car back to Winnipeg and hence I had to fill the tire with air everyday to drive around. Called Hertz rental, no response, finally they answer the phone on the day the car was returned (I had reached the airport at 5 AM so had to key drop). A lady in utmost hurry doesn’t listen and interjects in between saying some ‘Jagdeep’ will call and took a suitable time for call. Received no call. Low standards and no work ethics. Safe your money and go elsewhere than to waste your time, money and be unsafe on the roads with these blokes.

Got an upgrade to a nice fully loaded SUV.

Really appreciate the team and thankful for making our trip memorable with our family members as we were able to fit in one vehicle.

Super annoyed. When I picked up was told there would be an attendant in the lot when I was dropping off. Also rented an economy car and all they had was 7 passenger vans so there goes an extra 20$ in gas. When I returned no one in the lot. Walked inside was told they would process it “later”. I wanted them to inspect it while I was there so I could confirm that it was in great condition. Fine they said they would inspect it and to go out with the guy. Went out. He said he couldn’t complete it and to go back into the desk went back in. Was told she couldn’t complete it just give me an estimate so now I walk away and hope no one damages the car before they get around to processing it.

Awful experience. 7 day rental, didn't have the car reserved, tried to put me in an electric when there was going to be absolutely nowhere I could charge it. They downgraded me to a compact with no compensation. They said I could come back and change it, but they never did have a car to change to, not to mention that I had 3 hour drives to make into rural Manitoba. On top of that apparently it was on me to be calling to verify they had a car rather than them calling me when they had a car. No snow tires, in December Manitoba weather, which led to lots of slipping. The interior was filthy with a residue all over the windshield from other people obviously vaping in the car and them improperly cleaning it, so, foggy windshield to the point that I had to buy paper towels and windex in order to see properly at night. Just awful customer service overall. It doesn't matter if you smile while you provide an awful service, doesn't help the situation. Stop booking reservations you can't fulfil.

Horrible experience at Hertz. The manager Manpreet even made it worse, She has so much attitude and was very rude. She seems very Unprofessional. Hertz needs to do better. I do not understand how they hired her as a manager. I booked a Car 2 months ago specifically so I get a car to run the errands. But they did not have the vehicle and did not bother to call me beforehand so I make other arrangements. Luckily I went to Enterprise and they gave me Car and there service was top tier.

I would give zero stars if i could. I haven’t seen such bad customer service from any rental company in canada so far. I have tried several times and they have just tossed me around from one customer service representative to another. I rented a Tesla from the Winnipeg Airport Location and the vehicle i was given was a un serviced car that had so many issues and problems the basic cruise control was not working, all the cameras were broken even the reverse ones were broken and i paid almost $600 for the Tesla. i had the rental for around 2 weeks and tried to replace the vehicle with another one that had no issue but no success there. I had called them at least 4-5 times even after my rental was returned and still they have done nothing for me . So i am writing this review to let people know please stay away from Hertz.
Now they are telling me that I didn’t called road side assistance but when i called them around 5 times before my rental was returned nobody told me to call road side support.
Even the manager at the location told me that the best she can do for me is $50 off i was like is this a joke?
Its not about the money but the shitty service that they have provided that is what i am mad about and believe me when i say i will not let this issue go i will make sure of it.

If I could rate them zero I would. They gave away my reservation after my flights were redirected, even after I called the number they provided in their confirmation email, to confirm my reservatiom would still be good. This guy gave the worst customer service, with zero effort to remedy the situation.
