Be very careful here, there are thieves, they charge you extra fees that you did not authorize and then those charges do not appear on your Hertz account. When you call Hertz, they say that they only have two transactions here, they charged me three transactions in two weeks. Be careful with Uber drivers because there is a gang of thieves stealing here. When you come here to complain, what they do is they push you aside and do not serve you, so they let all the customers go before you so that the office is empty and that is when they serve you so that people do not find out about everything they are doing. Be careful, pay close attention to what they charge you and check your account constantly.

eL CHiNo LoCo 305 Uber

Hertz is the only Uber Partner that rents Tesla's. There was a sweepstakes that induced me to go forward with the rental. The Uber desk was manned by the 'Office Manager' and was very quick and efficient.

However, the car was left dirty which I didn't have an issue with until I found roaches in the car. Upon driving away a realized that the plastic cover under the car was damaged and I immediately notified the manager to address this. I brought the car back the next day to be resolved but there was a massive confusion w/the repair which created a landslide of other issues. They were unable to remove the Service ticket from the system which prevented me from auto renewing. The other agents at the counter were unable to resolve my billing issues and their answer was to contact corporate. Upon calling corporate, they insisted I needed to resolve with local office. Hence the poor rating of 2 stars. I was able to rent the car very easily however if you have any issues with the vehicle or billing you are S.O.L. It's unfortunate that I was unable to resolve my issues because renting the Tesla for Uber allowed me to utilize the car via 'Turn-Key' and generate income through Uber with relative ease. Although the costs are High, they rates actually changed and was not notified and I was still paying the higher price. I didn't realize this until after I returned the vehicle which was disappointing. I was unable to qualify for the free week rental because I never made it to week 9-10 to get the free week nor did I win the sweepstakes for free rental for a year. At least not to my knowledge.
Nevertheless, I was put on the DNR List and will most likely NEVER be able to rent from Hertz. That office is SUPER BUSY Since it's literally across the street from the airport and cruise port and I'm sure they get ALLOT OF HEAT from the customers. Just beware of the cockroaches and make sure you don't have any billing Issues otherwise, there's little they can do to help. They are just people and deserve to be treated with respect but I'm very disappointed with the overall experience. Hence the 2 star rating. Guys and Girls at the office if you're reading this. I'm sorry but not sorry.

Had to exchange vehicles due to an accident, and there was an issue prevent preventing me from doing so. I spoke to the manager, David location who took control of the situation and got me into a new vehicle with no hassle.

I appreciate the efforts of David and Hertz to rectify the situation.

BUGS BUGS BUS. I picked my rental up from the Hertz in Port Everglades. The lady asked me to go look at the car before charging my card, so I did. I came back and told her there were spiders in the car. She said she'd have the car cleaned. So I bought the car only to get home and get out and was followed by a swarm of roaches. The manager, Josh, gave me his number for emergencies so I called him and he said he could not swap the car or offer me a refund of any kind, it's their policy. So I had to end my contract short and still pay for the day I could not even use the rental because it was already occupied by their roaches.

The rideshare app allowed me to reserve a car for the same day, I showed up with the voucher provided to me and was left stranded with no car as they “don’t do same day rentals” and there was a at least 30 teslas on the lot yet all of them have to be “refurbished” before renting one of them out.

Not liking this location one bit. Customer service is pretty horrible. Car pretty dirty, car need maintenance. Ladies in the front desk pretty horrible to me. You’ll be waiting forever for a car even with a reservation. 3 hour wait Smh

Great experience. Marc was efficient and made sure we had the vehicle we needed. Renting cars these days is a nightmare but today was a sweet dream. Shout out to Marc and his team.

Honestly bad service, people talk to you however they want, NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE..... and they always double charging. Zero stars if i could. Hertz got to get this under control.
