Lithia springs, ga location.
There's have been a lot of changes at this location over the past year. This is my home base. I remember before the move where you guys were located.  Divine and Taylor were my go to's. Service was impeccable. I miss them. I have had the experience of interacting with new staff and even had situations resolved in a professional manner. Most of the staff that I've encountered were hertz grade. I have had the privilege of coming in one day and seen the revamp. I was like "here we go". But I am happy to say this new young talent that you have in place, very impressive. I've missed placed my tablet, late on my pick up and even had my card declined. The new staff are on point, professional, and personable. You can see that the are a team because the goal is realized. "Customer satisfaction". This is a good group and I'm going to keep my eye out. The worst case is they all excel and get promoted and I won't see them again. Thanks for the consistent service and the great personalities. Thank you JT, Vusay, Karel, and shyana, stay a team see you guys soon.

Yes the bad reviews are true. DO NOT get a car here if you are doing an insurance claim. They are going to take a “refundable” $50 deposit and tell you it will be returned after you return the car back. Then when you go in later after a month or so, they are just going to tell you it’s your banks fault and there is nothing they can do. Dudes talk bad about customers after you leave, they are there to see how much money they can take from people without getting in trouble.

In all the years of being a Hertz customer I have never encountered such a poor experience that started off at an off site location when I asked the fort Myers airport manager and the agent in the customer service booth for the vehicle to be swapped because the cigarette smell inside of that vehicle was unbearable for my wife and son who has severe asthma they both refused to assist and the manager had no care in the world condescending and dismissive acted as if he was bothered that I was even there acted like if we were speaking about a vehicle that belonged to a completely different company in another world and he basically treated me like if I wasn’t a customer of the company I will make sure to reconsider our choices when it comes to our companys future rental needs I can deal with a slightly dirty car but this car not being cleaned at all and smoked in and on top of it zero customer service from the two individuals that are supposed to be the most customer friendly on site to be the least that is intolerable the young lady at the return lane had better manners and was more customer oriented than the rest of the management team there this afternoon so disappointing and the so called manager Patrick acted like if he wanted to fight me because I yelled at him that he was being a jerk as he walked away because he was being a jerk to me and didn’t want to hear or even see the picture that I had taken of the unclean vehicle that was handed to me and didn’t care about the situation that I needed resolved this evening when I called your call center I was told because the vehicle is being paid for by my car dealer that no one could replace the car which should not be the case if the car belongs to you and I’m the one that has signed for it and placed my drivers license and credit card as the responsible party for the vehicle I should not be treated any differently than any other customer and especially since this leaves a very sour taste for when I want to go rent a vehicle in the future directly with the company this experience has definitely ruined my desire to use hertz moving forward

Waited on hold 15 minutes only to be given the run-a-round by someone that could barely speak correct English and ignored all the information I presented to make it a no brained to help me. Then…. Transferred me to an automated line that wasn’t even close to what I needed .
If there was a negative number I would have chosen it.
Used to be a Hertz One Club in the past years. The post office could have given better help.
You will NEVER get any of my future business.

Hertz rips off decent customers. Don't use. No accountability. No governance. Once they get their greasy fingers into your credit card they'll do what they want. Scam.. scam.. scam.. I was ripped off by this company in Santiago de compostela Spain, absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Hertz you should be ashamed, you make the world a worse place.

Hi, my friends and I were customers the past few years. Past experiences are great, but this time is a heart break. The customer service stole my money, PLEASE TURN MY MONEY BACK.
So this is what have happened:
I asked the customer service whether I can return the key through a key drop-off box the first day I rented the vehicle. He said yes, they have drop-off service for all sites. But the day when we return the vehicle, we couldn't find any box on that site. Thus, I took another phone call to argue the situation, the customer service's resolution is to return it tomorrow morning, and they are sorry for the false information so they won't charge extra fees, and will contact the store to inform them.
But when I turned in the keys tomorrow morning, the front desk said that no one called, and insisted to charge an extra day.
I called the customer service Lorma for help, if I have the correct information, I would have returned it on time, but she kept blaming me for returning it late, and not willing to help. Her supervisor Alice is also not willing to help, she said she can provide me a $50 coupon for the next trip.
But excuse me ma'am, what you have stolen is a $98 not a $50..., that may be not much money but is a lot for a student...
You can't give someone words at first and don't admit it in the end. And blaming the customer for returning the vehicle late due to your own behalf.
I don't know who to reach, the customer service is not willing to help. The front desk said that is not his fault so it is the customer service to blame, and not willing to help too.
This is exhausting and disappointing.

Hertz subsidiary Thrifty added insurance to my contract after the car was returned. When I contacted them to correct the error, they told me to "read the contract".

I answered questions about use and insurance when I picked up the vehicle. The attendant circled where I needed to initial as I answered her questions. Fraud is fraud.

If I ever 'need' to rent from any of the Hertz brands (Dollar and Thrifty), I will read my contract- every word - aloud - to the customers in line behind me.

I have rented from Hertz for more than 20 years, mostly for business travel. They have lost my trust.

I rented a vehicle from Hertz a few times and from Budget a few times. Upon looking at my statement from Budget they charged extra for insurance that I specifically told them I did not want (and they did that more than once).When I rented from Hertz they have never added an extra charge. I even got an upgrade from Hertz last time at no charge. Hertz in Budget out!!
