I've been going here for 20 years. They have the right tools and the know how to complete all the things that you can't do at home with your trusty c-clamps, BFH, and cheater bar... Absolutely perfect customer service. Fast, fair priced, and quality work. Couldn't ask for more out of a machine shop.

S&H is a true asset to our community. This place has NEVER let me down. When no one else in town has the engine part, when no one else in town knows the answer, when no one else in town cares to offer any help, Rod down at S&H has always been there with the perfect solution. He takes time to explain everything, answers every little question, and never makes you feel stupid for asking. It's like having a friend in the business. I've never heard of anyone having a poor experience there and everyone I've asked has only positive things to say. A business reputation like that is pretty rare these days.

Rod has always been kind to me. Most businesses, most people, get the common "another question!?!, what's in this for me!?" Rod does not. I am a beginning machinist, and just starting to have work I can't accommodate done by him. Because he seems to be able to accommodate anything/type of machining. But his taking time to answer questions, as well as tell me what my real question should be, has been invaluable. Not only is he fair and good, but he has the only properly (fully) equipped machine shop in the area. I've been to multi bay warehouse type shops who don't have half the equipment he has.

Experienced, competent, ethical, prompt and flexible. I am, by no means, a volume customer at this machine shop and I don't generate a large amount of business for them. They have always been very flexible to meet the needs of my schedule as well as providing very short turn around times. Always been professional and courtious as well as taking time to explain different options and services that they have available. Of course their work is always first class, I wouldn't accept anything less. These are the reasons that I use their services exclusively and never hesitate to recommend them to others.

The guys down a S&H really know their stuff....and have saved me a ton of money by not having to buy new parts, especially when I thought that all was lost.
