Absolutely seamless! I had never used a van like this before and the instructions were so easy to follow, the van was so easy to handle, and the team was so helpful! We had an excellent time touring the Utah National Parks with ease and the van was a rockstar. Comfy sleeping, immediate access to water, and fit in every parking space! Best way to travel by far.

I highly recommend renting a Modern 2.0 from Rossmonster for a super fun camping experience! There is a ton of storage room for all your gear. They provide super comfy bedding and an excellent supply of cooking utensils for making meals a breeze. Our family of four will definitely rent from Rossmonster again!

Recently rented the Silverton van from Rossmönster for a week away. It was perfect! I'd probably want something a little bigger with a few more amenities if I were going to buy, but this is a perfect choice for a weekend camping trip, or a hotel alternative on a long trip. Rossmönster was great to work with; Zoe was so helpful from beginning to end. I can't wait to try a different van for our next trip!

Renting a ‘Retro Mod' 1980’s Volkswagon Vanagon from Rossmonster Vans reminded me of why I still enjoy listening to vinyl on my beloved turntable. Tune in. Take time. Enjoy the road and the journey intentionally and fully. And, yes, we’re renting one of their new Mercedes Sprinters for a longer adventure but we will return for a 'slow-it-down' old school fix that keeps us real.

We've rented B/B+ campers 4 times, and the Baja camper was the best we've experienced. The power / maneuverability / quiet ride of the baja made hours of scenic driving feel like a highlight of the adventure itself. The well-appointed interior felt like a resort hotel room for a family traveling with a young child. Will definitely be working with Rossmonster again!

We rented the Jackson Hole Sprinter Van. Overall, our experience with Rossmonster was really positive. The reservation process, pick up, and drop off were all incredibly easy. When I had questions, the Rossmonster team responded to them quickly and were very helpful. We did not have any issues with the van while we were out and about, and it was surprisingly easy to drive and handle. We were up in the Colorado mountains, and with the solar panels our battery never went below 85% even with the ventilation system on throughout the night to keep things cool.

Now, some things to consider if you are interested in renting the sprinter: Despite the fact that technically this vehicle can sit and sleep 4, I would not recommend any more than 2 adults. The two front seats are incredibly comfortable for a long ride (and even remained comfortable on 20 miles of dirt road), but the back seat that folds down is (1) very uncomfortable and (2) quite small for two adults. It’s essentially a middle and end seat and two adults would be shoulder to shoulder the whole ride. You also cannot have the back seat down if you’d like to access the rest of the van, so there is not really a place for 4 people so sit while parked. We did not make use of the pop up, so I don’t know how that fares, but with two adults and one dog, the van was pretty crowded and I can’t imagine where two other people would fit in.

Unfortunately, the one thing that would keep us from utilizing Rossmonster in the future was the bed. I have slept many RV and camper beds, but I have never experienced anything as uncomfortable as this. It felt as though we were sleeping directly on the wooden platform. The mattress pad is only a couple of inches thick and neither of us did much sleeping. If Rossmonster upgraded their mattresses and made the experience more comfortable, we would not hesitate to rent with them again, however, after days of hiking and adventuring in the sun we really needed a place to be able to get a decent night’s sleep and that mattress was not it.

Lastly, if you do rent this van, be sure to bring something to cover the windows. I read in another review there are no privacy coverings so we were prepared with some sheets and pins to keep them up. I’ve never been in any kind of RV or camper that did not at least have a privacy shield for the cab, but this did not have even that. Though the windows are tinted, if you have the lights on in the van at night, anyone can see right in. So, if you’d like to keep your night-time activities private, I recommend bringing some coverings of your own.

Overall, we really enjoyed renting the van and getting a little taste into van life. It made for a really easy camping trip. I hope Rossmonster can do some upgrades to make things more comfortable and private. If so, we wouldn’t hesitate to rent with them again.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Our family of four explored Denver to the Grand Canyon in one of Rossmonster's camper vans. The van was well equipped, comfortable, and drove really well! Setting up the reservation and communicating with the staff was excellent with friendly and speedy replies. Now to convince my husband that we should buy one instead of renting! 😉
