It's a really nice trail, easy too. I've brought my puppy there a few times and it was a great hike with amazing views too.

The H-rock is located above Foothill. I love hiking up there and feeling like I have left the city. Once you are up there, you also get a great view of the city. This trail can be hiked all year round. Bring water when it’s hot. The H-rock is also a popular place for Highland High School kids. (It is their rock). The neighboring community is also very pleasant.

The view is worth the drive and walk to get here! Especially if you go as the sun is setting. Spectacular view of the valley! Also, of note, you can walk a short, easy walk, from the end of the street, to get to the H rock, but if you want to climb up to the actual rock, keep on walking past the rock, there are easier routes to game than going straight up the steep, rocky incline in front of the rock!

Interesting and fun little spot to check out. Isn’t the biggest area and is often full of people but you do get a cool view. They h changes as well so it is fun to come see what you are going to get.

The hike to the H from this particular location was very nice. Was able to see the valley from the east. Could have gotten closer but stayed close to the trail.

Great view of Salt Lake and a small trail for new hikers or people who want to see somewhere new. You go through beautiful neighborhoods on your way to the trail head also. Great experience if you want to go out and explore. Not so much if you need a long trail for marathon level fitness.

While the view is amazing, This area has become a party spot for high school kids. I probably would've loved it too - when I was in high school. However, the trails are generally full of trash and there can be literal traffic jams on small neighborhood streets, especially on weekends. At night the scene can get pretty rowdy and during the day it makes you feel guilty if you don't have a trash bag to help clean up.
