Jeg opplever dette som ren forsikringssvindel. For en liten ripe som kan poleres på bilen kreves det 12 000 kr i egenandel, men de reparerer ikke skaden. I stedet venter dere på at andre kunder skal rapportere skader, slik at de kan samle dem opp. Dette er uakseptabelt og gir inntrykk av en svært lite seriøs praksis. Kundeservice får du ingen hjalp av.

ZERO STARS!
STAY AWAY FROM HERTZ! THEY ARE CROOKS!
Rented a car from Bergen airport with my family. We only drove 100 kms. The car was mostly parked in a secured parking. We forgot to take photos of the car when we returned to the airport at 04:00. 1 day later I received an email about alleged damages. this happened again with Hertz in Hannover. hopefully then, the manager helped us reverse the false claims of the company. this time we werent so lucky.
ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! STAY AWAY FROM HERTZ, IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD.
ALWAYS TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF THE CAR BEFORE AND AFTER. DO NOT TRUST THE RENTAL COMPANIES!

My first and definitely last experience with Hertz. We ended up being charged for our “free upgrade”, falsely accused of damaging their car, and only received a partial refund for a supposedly fully refundable deposit. The lack of integrity is appalling.

Zero stars (not 1) Please stay away from Hertz.
We rented a car from Bergen airport for one week. On day three I lost the key to the car. This is a first time I lose a key and a first time I need assistance with a rental car. My wife called customer service (which took a long time to reach). She is a Norwegian and speaks the language perfectly btw. We asked if they could help us in any way (give us another key or swap the car for another but the “customer service” lady told us we better find the key, otherwise this will be a huge problem!
So after many hours of search we try to contact them again but they did not answer. In order to keep up with our planned family trip, we rented a new car at AVIS. They were surprised to hear the lack of help at Hertz. Then we decided to send an email to have everything on record.
That took of course so long time, many meaningless answers from Hertz and with no help given. This problem ended up being solved by the AVIS office, that helped us out and solved the matter ?

Then Hertz charged us a full rent, plus extra money for a new key and customer assistance!
I will pay the bill, but the amount of work in my vacation will hopefully be a funny story to tell in some time. Thanks for nothing Hertz ? you guys are clearly “here to take you there” as all your emails stated!!!

Dobbeltfakturerer og nekter for det. Forhåndsbetalte for leie då det var det eneste alternativet. Endte med å bli trekt der for forsikringer og alt, utan å få ei kvittering. Når eg henta ut bilen la dei inn ein reservasjon på kortet for over 7000 kr. Noko som er eit solid innhogst i kapital når ein forventar at alt er betalt og på stell. Ved innlevering blei eg fakturert igjen for over 4000 kr ekstra, men her for fleire ting som forsikringer eg alt hadde forhåndsbetalt for og blei påtvunget ekstra.

Når eg prøver å få tak i kundeservice får eg beskjed om at dei svarer innan 20 virkedager, og dei teller jammen minutter ned til fristen før dei svarar. Der konstanterte dei for seg sjølv at kvitteringa eg endeleg fekk av dei for forhåndsbetalt sum ikkje var gyldig i derast auge, sjølv om det var dei som sendte den til slutt på forespørsel, og dermed ikkje kunne brukast som kvittering for å bevise at dei fakturerar dobbelt for tjensester dei har levert. Når dei nektar å annerkjenne sine eigne kvitteringar som dei sjølv sender ut, så må ein virkeleg begynne å lure kva i alle dagers slags foretak dette her skal vere.

Leide bil i Hamburg for to dager. Ble fakturert for skade og belastet min konto for 6000. Vi hadde heldigvis tatt bilder av bilen før vi kjørte og skaden var helt tydelig på bilen før vi brukte den. Men de svarer naturligvis ikke på klager. Velg et annet firma!

Best. Bil i DK for min datter fra Hertz Norge
Avtalt Pris med avgift, forsikring, vinterdekk samt ubegrenset km. Var DKr. 2550.
Ca.Nkr. 3520
Da hun hentet bilen i København fikk hun beskjed om at ubegrenset km. Ikke var mulig når hun bodde og skattet i DK. pga. skatteregler i DK
Hun ble trukket Nkr. 8200
Nesten Nkr.5000 mere enn avtalt.
Hvordan er det mulig.
Har ikke Hertz Norge satt seg inn i avtaler i andre land.
Dette bør de rette opp i.
Useriøst firma. Aldri mere Hertz for meg.

STAY AWAY from HERTZ in Bergen airport! Never pick up or deliver car to this station! At the end of Feb 2019 I booked an electric car and arrived at their facility. First of all i was offered BMW i3 and the CAR was DIRTY ALL AROUND (was not possible to check all the scratches, dirt, dents etc.), so I asked person working there Fernando to clean windshield, sidemirrors and had to drive out for work. After 5 days using it I delivered it back to facility and met there Jeanette who was responsible to check the car before the release. She discovered 1mm dent on the side door made by other car due to different opening mechanism of this BMW i3. A week after a got email with total rental invoce and no extra charges added. Now HERTZ has sent me a new invoice after 1.5 month to pay 400 EURO for the paint job on the PLASTIC car. There is no paint on the car, especialy on that area. That was my last rent from HERTZ. DO NOT DEAL with HERTZ! SCAM!
