Wir haben ein Auto online reserviert, doch als wir es abholen wollten, mussten wir über 1 Std. warten, denn es war kein Wagen für uns da. Das Problem wurde jedoch von dem Manager hervorragend und kundenorientiert gelöst! Vielen Dank dafür!

5 sterne um die schlechten bewertungen auzugleichen! Ich verstehe bicht wieso es schlecht bewertet wird. Wir haben einen kaffe getrunken zwar ca 40min gewartet auf das auto aber ist auch klar bei einem mitarbeiter, wir wussten es aufgrund den bewertungen. Das auto war nicht vorhanden und wir kamen ein viel grösseres und neuers. Sehr nette mitarbeiter top

Ich habe einen Wagen über Check24 gemietet. Es hat alles bestens geklappt. Der Wagen war bereit und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Katastrophe wie unfreundlich die Leute dort sind! Das soll Hertz sein mit einem guten Service? Vorsicht nein! Sehr sehr unfreundlich beim abgeben des Mietwagens.

This should be a zero star review and I am not sure where else to turn except for google reviews since I was not able to be served or have my issue rectified by Hertz.

I arrived at this location and was told that I would be “behind” about 20 people who were waiting even though I had a car reserved for the time I arrived. The woman behind the desk was SURLY - so rude that it was actually disturbing - and told me if I wanted to use a different credit card that I would have to cancel the reservation over the phone and wait 7-10 business days for a refund. I needed a car to get to a friends baby shower in South Jersey and I was on a strict schedule. I told her to forget it and just run the correct card.

After messing with me for 30 minutes … I was then (AFTER she swiped my card and charged me AGAIN) told that there were “no cars” and in the order of people waiting I would MAYBE get a car at some point. I called customer support to try and get a solution and all they could do is cancel my reservation but hold my funds for 7-10 days. NO CAR. Literally criminal and outrageous behavior.

I now have to spend over $300 on an Uber… I am running 90 minutes late …. after being delayed by the lady at the counter for 30 min before she told me she had no cars and I will never use Hertz or this location ever again.

My wife and I usually rent 5-6 times a year through this Hertz location. We have always had great success - decent cars, reasonable shape, clean and the staff have been great.

That was, until August 9 when I arrived to pick up my car and was informed that “there were no cars”, and that there had been no cars delivered for a day. I was not given any options, other than to cancel. Other customers had the same response given.

Ultimately I had to reserve through a competitor at a higher cost. I received no assistance through the location or the service line. I received no compensation. I submitted a written complain, and I have received no response (hence the delay between my booking and this review).

Appalling treatment of customers. Don’t bother with this location, I won’t going forward.

Shout out to Theresa at this location! I'm glad I read the reviews prior to going in, I was skeptic and was prepared to wait a long time based on reviews. I was so wrong! The car was mint, on time, and exactly what I was looking for, for a quick trip up state. Theresa was kind in waiving my late fee on return. Awesome service at this location.

DO NOT USE - JUST AWFUL

When my wife and I showed up at the appointed time to pick up the car from Hertz near Wall Street in New York, neither our reserved vehicle nor anything similar was there.

The agent was completely unhelpful, telling us repeatedly that this happens "every single day" and that "Hertz just overbooks, always" and "we could just take what he had or wait for hours or days, as we liked."

Many, many other customers were in the same situation, some had been waiting since 7am. That customer and ourselves took the last two cars, so there were none available for anyone else. The whole scene was a bad joke.

The car we eventually took was a well-used, under-sized and under-powered Buick Malibu with over 59,000 miles and engine trouble. It was awful.

The whole reason that we reserved an SUV was that we were driving five hours to pick up my daughter and sister at camp in upstate New York with our luggage and all of theirs. Luckily, my wife and I had already sent most of our luggage back to Singapore by UPS, but even so we had to fill the passenger compartment with all the kids luggage, with my wife, sister and 12-year-old daughter crammed between, over and even sitting on their luggage for a very. uncomfortable 7 hour trip from their camp to Boston.

The whole experience was just terrible.

Will never use Hertz again anywhere for anything. Neither should you.
