Terrible experience. Beware!

I rented a Suburban Premier on a Friday morning and the SUV was in very bad shape. It looked like it had been in a few accidents and poorly repaired. In addition to that it was very dirty. I found used toothpicks, crackers, a cracker wrapper, stains on doors, and plenty of dust (see photos). When I was about to pull away I went inside to let them know the car was in terrible shape and his answer was “You’re good”, as in I’m aware. I called to advise that I had to clean it myself and they apologized and said someone will call me back. No one did.

When I dropped it off they apologized once again and said they were going to give me an adjustment. No “adjustment” was made so I paid full price.

After leaving a review with Hertz it said someone will call me within 72 hours. No one did.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE AND I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN.

Alquilé el auto allí. Le di mi visa Black a la chica, la pasó x su maquina y a las horas comenzó a hacer compras múltiples y de diferentes monton. Llamé a VISA y desconocí todas las compras. No sé q pasará. En ese local te roban los datos de la tarjeta de crédito y la gastan. Son estafadores

I wish I had read the reviews prior to renting from this location. First off the person at the counter was totally dismissive and transactional, showed me a 5 seater when I had rented a 7 seater, no apologies and stated, let me see if I have that car, waited 30 minutes or so and another employee steps out stating I will get pics taken of your car, not sure what that meant.
All this while these two employees converse in Spanish about a million things. Another 30 minutes and the employee comes back with a filthy Buick with pet hair, warning messages, scratches and front full of bugs.
I had to vacuum the car prior to using due to it being filthy.
The return process wasn't any better, the same two employees chit chatted, ignored me for a bit, finally one of them stepped out without stating the reason with the car keys. About 20 minutes later I inquired with the remaining staff member of the status, he called her only to inform me there will be a charge for gas, I showed him the pics at the time of pick up and i had topped with with a cpl of extra gallons, he backed down and stated ok, you don't have to pay then. The place is a total scam, rude employees and no recognition of gold status, I should have known better and rented from the airport or used Turo.

Pos. They make you add your own sunpass or upcharge you 5 times what it would cost you. When you try to add your sunpass it doesn't let you and they say if you have a sticker sunpass which 99 percent of people do. Then it won't let you. So you have to buy a brand new equipment and account or else it won't let you add it to your existing account these hidden fees are getting out of control honestly. Spoke to Jonathan at location. Offered no solution other than buy a whole new equipment and open another account. Foh.

Worst Experience Ever!!
First of all, car is completely dirty. Windshiel has dirty spots INSIDE for every place. Dangerous to drive. I have to deep clean it by myself.
The worst of everything....I need to the car for 5 days, the agent told me they have a weekly rate so I had to take for 7 days. Rate was $233.14 and $46.63 for extra day. I went to the store on day 7 to extend for a couple of days more. Agent done, and surprisely change me the rate to $318.19. I asked for an explanation and he told me that was made by the computer!!! Because I am in a hurry, I just got it, and then I start trying to connect with customer service. There was 7 calls to reach somebody to get an explanation. Customer service said that ONLY store can fix it. I called to store, Store said only Customer service can fix it. I spent 2.30 hours and nobody help me.
Finally I decided to return the car same day, because this looks loke a bad joke.
Agent at store did not show any interest in try to help me.
He received the car, and charge me the rate of $318.19.
It is unbelieveable. NO COSTUMER SERVICE, NO INTENTION TO HELP CUSTOMER.
I will fight at any way until I receive my money back, not for the money, is for the way they treated me.
Plus hours on the phone, plus UBER, plus my time, and my mental health.
I hope that somebody can take action on this matter.

Picked up a rental and it was filthy. Inside and out. There were personal belongings left from previous 2 renters in the glove box. The location never inspected the car. So if the previous renter left something dangerous like a firearm then my 7 year old could have gotten his hands on it. Tried calling to extend my rental and got left on hold for over 35 minutes at the actual location. Every 5 minutes they would unmute and mute again. I'm sure trying to see if I would hangup instead of helping me. Customer service said the branch was the only one that could extend it. I will never rent from them again. STAY AWAY.

Terrible customer service at this location. All the employees are on their phones texting and checking their bank statements as they provide you “service.” You are secondary to their personal whims. The system is always down, too, so something as simple as returning your rental turns into a 30+ min ordeal.

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. We rented a car Monday morning and prior to renting the car, one of the workers was letting us know that it would be possible that the car could have some issues when we went to pick it up. We questioned how that would be possible if we were reserving the car a few weeks in advance and after speaking with another woman, she said nothing would be wrong with the car. Doesn’t make any sense.
When we picked up the car Monday morning, it was making a noise so we had to return it and pick up another car. They didn’t bother checking the car to see if it was even making a noise, which led us to believe they knew about it already.
3 workers had told us that the drop off of the car would have to be before 5pm to avoid extra charges and when we went to turn it in, there were extra charges because they said we had to turn it in before 9am. After a long time of waiting and workers going back and forth saying that the system automatically created the charges , one of the workers very rudely told us “haven’t you guys ever rented a car , the drop off is always 9am?”. We responded that , that was not what we were told. Horrible customer service, stay away from this rental service.
