Didn’t even rent the car, tried 4 days in a row to get a hold of the branch with endless ringing. Had the best the deal but couldn’t reach anyone, I figured they were closed down. I walk in there and he acts like everything is fine. Complains about being a one man show having to do it all. Well that’s probably why your business sucks. Very negative, short answers to all my questions. Not friendly at all, can tell he hates his job and life with just a 5 minute interaction. Terrible all the way around, you get what you pay for and I’ll pay more at enterprise for sure. Night and day difference in service, and vehicles. Very much a reason you have no staff I guarantee that Brad.

Worst Rental car Experience of my life. Had reservation and when I arrived, they could not find a car that was available to rent for an hour. Finally got a car and it was so filthy that there were warning lights on the dash because all of the cameras were blocked completely. All four tires were 10-15lbs low and the side walls were compromised on two of the tires. I tried to call them to get another vehicle for almost a week and was never able to even get a person to answer the phone. Next day had one of the bad tires blow to which they informed me that I would be charged for the tow bill as well as the new tire. Car had 85K miles when i picked it up but the incompetent woman at the counter entered 75K on the contract and I did not notice that until this occurred. Decided to try and return the car for a new one and again when we arrived, we were blown off and ignored the same as last time. Took hours to close the contract so that I could get a new car from Enterprise. I would give this a zero if possible.

I reserved a car and I was in the Uber 3 minutes away and they called me to say that the car was not available. I asked if they could help me find another car and she no, she couldn't help me and there was no way for her to see what stock other Hertz dealerships had. And then she said in the future, they won't carry those kinds of cars, but the website let's you confirm the rental and deposit for it. Also, there is no way for you to call them to confirm they have the car that you rented in stock because local employees don't answer the phones at Hertz locations, so it just rings and rings and then you get hung up on over and over again.

Do not use these guys! Rented a car and never told us we that they will not let you leave your car there! Had to make two trips to pick up our car. They wouldn’t cancel, wouldn’t give us a credit, wouldn’t do anything to make it right.

My experience was awful, I have never had this kind of experience in my life, the lady attendant is completely incompetent with lots of mistakes done and not able to fix. How on earth will she give me someone else's receipt( that is violating privacy), at the point of return, then called me 3days after the return and asked me where the vehicle was after I had already returned the vehicle. They attendant then stated oh I must have made a mistake. Then upon receiving my correct receipt I noticed I was charged 138 for gas, in which I filled up the rentals gas tank prior to returning(i have receipt of this transaction) the attendant still continued to argue with me instead of fixing the problem she created. She is not knowledgeable when it comes to working with customers and made a handful mistakes that were not corrected. If you need to rent a car PLEASE go elsewhere! Save you the troubles!!!

The guy who works in there seems annoyed all the time and is very rude. Also when renting a tesla they do not tell you that charging is added to the weekly re renting bill and they put a hold on your card after you return the car for 350$ and it won't go back on for 30 days.

Never in my life have I ever posted a review. I am an extremely patient person, as I work in IT, and I have to deal with a lot of people. I give the benefit of the doubt or assume people are having a bad day if something goes wrong.

Hertz’ websites and apps are set up as weaponized incompetence. Once you login and rent a vehicle, you will never be able to login again, either on a website or on the app. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, you need to login. If you can’t login, then you need to call customer service. Unless you navigate all the way to the end, you will constantly be redirected to the app or website, (WHICH YOU CAN’T LOG INTO!!!). If you do manage to get to a customer rep line, you are guaranteed to wait 15 minutes or more.

I reserved a vehicle for 11:30 am, then I realized I needed to push the pickup to 12:30 pm due to a work meeting.

After all this incompetence, I just cancelled the reservation and went with Budget.

Will never use this service again and will tell everyone I know to avoid it.

I've reserved cars online in the past far in advance and had a good experience at this location. Recently, I was in a pinch, and I was able to reserve a vehicle online for rent later that day. When I arrived, there were no cars available on site. The website does not reflect the actual availability at the location. The manager was quite gruff in explaining this. He explained it with the tone of voice of someone who deals with this issue daily and has no control over it. The end result is that I was left high and dry while Hertz offered only false information and zero help to me. Unless you're booking far in advance, I recommend you go elsewhere.
