The car was dirty inside and out, it was noisy for a 2 year old car and tires needing rotated. Dont pick the manager special. The rep was very nice tried to upgrade but issues with that car as well dash lights were on. **Hint-Take photos/video of any car you rent to prove there was no damage made by you.

Accused of a chip I reported at the prior location I pick the car from in Hollywood, fl. Chain is in shambles and looking to find any reason to charge you or set you up for failure.

I recommend getting the insurance, or booking with a credit card that offers car rental insurance. It’s to protect you from Hertz’s fraudulent claims- not from actual accidents on the road.

Let me Just say ,worst place to rent a car I made reservations correctly online, reserved economy, car ready to go in and shoot out, but when I got there, they didn’t have the car that I reserved. They wanted me to get a bigger car and pay extra. an extra fees that I didn’t need. They were all over the place. And they wasn’t answering me with a straight answer, terrible. Stay away. There’s better places to rent a car around the area.Not professional at all

Just rented a vehicle from this location and left very pleased with the service. Dimitri’s ability to handle the volume of customers today was incredible to witness. Everyone were patient while he gave attention to each and every one of us, managing to show the available choices and I swear that is something you do not see often , clearly shows his people skills and calm demeanor creating a pleasant atmosphere. He upsold us a very reasonably priced upgrade making sure we were in a better vehicle, made sure it was clean , presented and politely explained all options, out of pure professionalism I felt comfortable with his suggestions and didn’t feel it being a pushy sales tactic, but the opposite, showed that he cared to ask what distance and amount of people and made sure I didn’t leave in a car I would be embarrassed to drive 🙂

Total scam! Hertz used to be a good company. They added $30/day in insurance and roadside assistance I didn't ask for. 1-800 can't help and they would not refund at the desk. Total scam. Update: it gets worse!!! They message me here and I spent 20 mins chatting with them so they could tell me they could not reverse the charges. Wow!! ?. Unbelievable. This is all a big scam to rip off tourists in FL. Unethical and sad!

This car rental location is the worse on earth to deal with. They are disrespectful, condescending and least professional. Go there deal with the agents that are from the bottom of the earth’s barrel and observe yourself. They wont honor confirmed bookings like any other reputable car rental company. They would tell you we don’t have that class of car you booked and confirmed and try to sell you something else double the cost of the booking. Even their office is filthy. From the office Manager Mario to Dimitry, they are not a good representation and shall be fired. I hope they read this as a well as their superiors and enjoy.

Today, we had a reservation set for a 12:30 pickup for a pickup truck, which was reserved and prepaid. When we got to the location, the manager, Demetrius, advised us that the location did not have any pickup trucks (even though the booking was made via the Hertz website online, specifying that they had trucks available). Demetrius advised us to call other locations to find a truck and make the calls ourselves since he could not help us with anything. There were 2 pickup trucks on the lot, and we were told that they were for employee use that our reservation was made last minute, and that there were other clients in need of help. Demetrius stated that he could not help us and maybe someone else at the location could help us. We were told that the location could not make any trades and was not willing to make any trades with any other Hertz location. We were given another vehicle and pressured into getting the company's insurance, although we had our own. Demetrius was not professional and not helpful at all.
