I was picking up a rental a 4 pm. I got here at 4:05 pm. And the employee was gone. For any company you give people some grace in time. As a manager myself for a clinic if my patients are 10 mins late I just don't tell them to leave. I still take them and provide a service. The manager for Uber Heather at this hertz told me after I drove an hour to pick up my rental that I was at 4 pm. She told me that her computer system stops working a 4 pm. How does a computer system stop working at 4 pm when that is the pick up time for the car. That is why I'm writing this. If some was 5 mins late due to traffic or another reason how do you just tell some they can't pick up their rental. And don't try to rectify the issue knowing the circumstances of driving an hour to pick up rental. Also give people time to pick up. They close a 4 o clock but you pick up at 4. Heather is the worst manager I have ever met as a manager myself. She made no effort to help me. Terrible employee and manager. Sad. Just Sad that someone put her in management.

This is one of those blame everyone else (including customers) except ourselves type of places.

I showed up a bit before 4pm for a 4pm reservation. Woman there casually says I’m SOL because they close at 4pm, as if closing at a time when reservations are booked is normal business practice.

Apologizing for the inconvenience and giving me some options to make it right would have been nice. Instead, I got a snarky attitude, condescending eyes, and excuses.

Corporate should take a good look at this location and its leadership.

AWEFUL EXPERIENCE. I had a reservation to pick up a vehicle at 1 PM. I had arrived about an hour early to pick up My rental reservation. The lady working at the desk told me that she would not be able to fill my reservation until the end of the day. This is a problem. 1. I should have been notified when I booked my reservation that they may not have a vehicle for me. 2. They should have notified me the morning of via text message, email, or phone, and none of this was done. I took time off work to get this vehicle, Because they do not work very early or late hours. Not only did it Inconvenience my day, put my entire weekend plans with the vehicle.

Not sure if the problem is with an employee not doing their job, or hurts not having an acceptable Standard operating procedure. Nevertheless, poor experience and will not use them again. I had to cancel my reservation because I could not accommodate another pick up time. They would not deliver the vehicle to me, or allow me to go pick up the vehicle at the other Hertz location.

This Hertz location is the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. Eric is the most unprofessional manager i ever talked to and I hope someone reads this review. Eric and Shawn were extremely unprofessional and started to raise their voice at me and my brother. We waited 1 hour to drop the car off. They kept saying they are not getting paid to deal with Uber cars which is really not my issue as they still work for hertz. Eric lacks emotional intelligence and can’t control his emotions to be a manager. Eric you need help man. God bless!

Don’t expect Hertz Car Rental to work with anyone living in the 21st Century! They billed my Apple Card for the vehicle, however, when I attempted to pick up the car, they said Virtual cards aren’t acceptable. All of my cards are virtual. I tried to change it to a Debit Card and I even authorized $10k hold on the card, but they still wouldn’t accept it. Nope to the Business cards I carry with the business name on it (3 cards with me). Staff was sort of understanding, but honestly, if Hertz wants to continue to play with the big boys, they need to jump into the 21st Century. PDQ
