Great service and great vehicles. I dealt with Edgar, the manager, and he is also the one that has to clean the cars. It’s a one man shop. A+ experience. Only complaint is to Hertz as a company - give this man some help. It’s ridiculous that they make one man do 100% of everything and then you go to other locations and they have way more staff than they could ever need. Thanks Edgar!

Do not rent from here! I was promised a pick up truck at reservation. I recieved confirmation vis email, took an Uber to the location and there is no truck! They offered me a small SUV instead. I explained if I needed an SUV, I would have reserved one. They said there's nothing they can do. 0 help whatsoever. What a waste of time for me. Don't waste yours...

Great Experience!

While the office is not in a great location, the staff made up for it. We were greeted by Uncle Jay who, beyond his stelar efficiency, was warm and genuine. His personality truly brighten our day, made us smile and happy we rented from his office. We are hoping to return!

Worst Hertz location ever!
The office is a dungeon which smells very bad and has two very slow and incapable employees. I arrived on time for my appointment which was to switch my car but the man in the office wasn’t capable to help so I had to wait over half an hour for this colleague returning from the break. An hour later I finally got my new car and it smelled so badly because people were smoking in it (and not only once or twice) - I incapable to breath in the car without windows fully open. I returned the car a day later at the Lombard Hertz location which gave me a car that smelled a little better (still a smoking car), however this time the car wasn’t cleaned at all and very disgusting. Both locations confirmed they don’t have any other available cars (non smoking and clean as I booked) that I could have.
After hours on the phone Hertz finally found me a available car at the Airport that I could get which was a life saver! Next time I’ll only book a car from the airport.

I have rented cars a lot over the years, but this one over the labor day has been the best experience I had so far. Your agent at this Marriott Oak Brook Illinois made the whole process seamless with great customer service to make me come back to rent, and recommend it to work colleagues and friends. We planned a road trip from Sept 22-25. We reserved the car in May. When we went to pick up the car, we were told they didn't have any.

As we walked in, the front desk person was talking someone on the phone, telling them they didn't have a car for them. Then it was our turn, and we got the same story. They said Hertz keeps overbooking but they didn't offer compensation or to find us a car at a different location. Just awful.

This office is not even open. They didn’t tell me that, totally screwing up my plans. Hertz knew the office was closed and booked it anyway. They didn’t have the courtesy of letting me know in a timely manner. They offer discounts for booking and paying early and offer them repeatedly. They only let me know of their change once . Then I had to call to the Philippines to cancel which only had me on hold for 45 minutes . I will never use Hertz again. They should look carefully at their procedures regarding customer service! Hertz is not looking good for a company coming out of bankruptcy.

The person at the hertz desk was extremely rude. We tried to knock the door to double-check we were at the right location/ reaching our the right representative. He did not even let us in and shouted at us for bothering him after making us wait outside for 20min.
There were 2 other customers that were kept waiting outside with us. Never renting again from this location.
