Awful experience. I talked to an agent for am appointment. I arrived and the vehicle wouldn't be available for 4 hours maybe. I do not live in Alexandria and shouldn't wait on a maybe. Agent on duty seen several customers waiting and he and customer was shooting the breeze talking about everything except her rental. I sat down since they both ignored others was waiting in line. I finally got tired and stood beside them. Agent told me 2 cars that my insurance approve hasn't been returned yet. My time is valuable. I drove 190 miles round trip for nothing. Reservations doesn't mean anything to them. I will take my business elsewhere.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Hertz team for their exceptional service to myself and my family. Mr. Derrick Kirk and Mrs. Tameka Waller went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I would not like to disclose the name of the previous rental company, as their handling of our reservation was truly unacceptable. I had made a prior reservation for a SUV weeks in advance and had even confirmed its availability in person two weeks prior to our trip. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my reserved vehicle was unavailable and had been given away. The representative at the previous rental company offered a smaller vehicle that could not accommodate our party of seven. They did not provide any discounts or assistance in resolving the matter. Their only suggestion was to inquire with the neighboring rental company. The prices for SUVs at that company were prohibitively high and beyond our budget. After contacting various rental agencies, Hertz informed us that they had a suitable SUV available. We were able to secure a much better deal and were in and out of the rental facility in record time. We even received a larger SUV, which made our trip significantly more comfortable. I would like to remind everyone that even if unexpected setbacks occur, they may ultimately lead to positive outcomes. Hertz's outstanding service enabled us to travel to my daughter's All-State game in Florida without any stress or hassle. Thank you, Hertz, for contributing to a memorable and enjoyable experience.

P.s. Mr Derrick! Banana pudding is better and your missing out without having them in your pudding! Have to get my momma to make you some to change your mind!

I rental vehicles all the time for vacations and never ever have I've been treated so poorly, and it was apparently by the rude manager, Temika!! There were 5-6 pieces of dog (I have pictures) fur on the passenger seat and made us take the car back and vacuum it out!! My dogs were NEVER in that car!!! She said if I didn't vacuum it, it could be up to $400 for them to clean it!!! Wtf? When I first got the car and got in it, it smelled like Marijuana and had shake all over the back seat, but I never complained!!! I will be contacting her superiors this is far from over!!! So heads up stay away from this nasty place!!!! She was so rude and should not be working in customer service situations!!

When my husband and I walked in, there was 1 employee running the desk & apparently been working all day alone (or mostly alone). She was professional, friendly, & courteous with each customer standing in line. I work in customer service & finding someone like her is rare! Keep her happy bc she is clearly an asset & the face of this location!

Mom rented a car for a trip to FL when she returned the car they said it had hear everywear there were no dogs in the car they said the car had a pee smell to it it did not they did not give her the right size car they gave her a compact SUV charged her for a mid-size SUV then tried to charge her an extra $400 for a cleaning fee when they said they were charging her $50

I picked up a rental from this location on 11/20/24 it had a smell and it wasn't clean and no floor mats. I brought the fact it was dirty to her attention then I showed her where the vehicle had been wrecked. They didn't have another car so I took it . They charged me an additional fee(200) for cleaning the car that was dirty when I picked it up. Terrible place don't rent from them. They are thieves.

DO NOT GO HERE. I had a reservation for November 14th 10 am. Waited a whole jour just to be seen. Was About 5 people ahead of me. None of them got their rental and neither did I. They told me my rental needed a oil change and that it would take a hour. I decided to leave cause everyone ahead of me complaining about being there for hours and the man at the desk told me he would call me in a hour. I went home and called him two hours later he then proceeded to tell me that other issues came up and i wasnt gonna be able to get my rental at all that day. Then i came back the next day and they said they was still having issues. Do not go here.

Lazy staff, poor customer service. The guy at the counter wouldn't modify my reservation (even though I could have just cancelled and rebooked) and said to just make the modification at the drop off location. Well, doing so cost me $250 in extra fees on a $100 rental. Disgusting!
