World's most useless car rental location. I booked a car THREE AND ONE HALF MONTHS ahead of time based on their business hours only for them to call me 22 hours before pickup to tell me that they close at 12 noon (on a Friday! 9-12noon!!) and basically I have no car unless I pay them over double the amount so it can sit there until Monday after I drop it off. Thanks for ruining my trip, horrible business.

(BTW, I absolutely declined their offer and found out from people in the town that this business regularly screws over people traveling on vacation. Unfortunately there are not many ways to get around here. Please plan ahead, BUT NOT WITH ENTERPRISE.

My father had a car from them through the insurance. There was a problem with the insurance extending the rental and Rebecca from here called my father telling him he was late returning his car and demanding a credit card. When I called back afterwards to try to clarify things, she kept saying she couldn’t do anything and he would have to return it today, which he couldn’t do right away. I ended the call as I was getting nowhere with her and went to call the insurance. Instead of waiting, she called another family member listed as an emergency contact and threatened to call the police after we hung up so he could be charged with a crime if not returned. The insurance extended this one day and we eventually returned this on the extension day, but I have never heard of a rental place doing this and would find somewhere else to rent. They use scare tactics and are not customer friendly.

Gave a 0 star even though the customer service was decent, the differing policies experienced made me leave a low rating because they just created an emergency situation with those policies.

I used this service in June 2024 and was happy with it. The process was easy. I booked, I got the car, I used it, returned it, end of story.

I thought I would use them again, but nothing was the same. The 2nd experience left me with a panic attack and needing to find a ride and leave town by 8pm today.

I will probably NEVER use this service again, and certainly will NEVER suggest the service to anyone. In fact, I will warn them to stay away from Enterprise at all costs.

My second expereince was this: get there to pick up the car, and I am told I need to show insurance on my own vehicle first? Then was told I needed a $300 refundable deposit on a credit card? Then was told I needed to put it all on ONE card? Then they refused my cash payment?

I walked out. The first experience never asked for a deposit. Never asked for my own car's insurance policy, and let me pay with my debit card.

So why are the policies different? I had to walk out because even though I had the money for the rental, they refused my form of deposit and my form of payment. I offered 3 different ways to pay the refundable deposit, they refused. I offered cash they refused.
Now, I have to figure out how to get to my appointment 8 hours away without a car.

Literally a pointless service. This company has let me down for the last time. Their system 'allows' them to overbook. So pretty much, you can 'reserve' a car through their website, make a bunch of plans based on that reservation and then they can call you 18 hours later and say 'oh sorry no we wouldn't have a car for you for 4 days after your reservation time'... Make it make sense ?‍♀️ there's other options, use them.

I made a reservation, have a confirmation number but received a phone call that they are sold out, and overbook. This happened at a time our only vehicle had emergency, leaving us stranded.

Megan and W were both super awesome and accommodating. Especially when I didn't deserve it. I was a total Karen at first cause I was frustrated with the experience dealing with insurance. Thank you both for dealing with me and helping me out through this process

Hands down the greatest customer service I have ever experienced from a rental car company. I travel for work quite a bit and have rented with many brands and individual branches around the country. The staff at Enterprise Cortez was exceptional. They were communicative, prompt, efficient and kind. SO EASY - 10/10 would recommend.
