This place is just like the good tasting fish we use to have in upland . They are always so friendly and make us feel welcome. The zucchini is so tasty, and their jumbo shrimp is good, but their fish is what makes us drive so far for it. It's so delicious

I've been eating H Salt Fish & Chips from way back in my high school days. It's still one of my all time favorite meals I can find even today, 40+ years later. Every location is still basically 70's type decorated and the recipe, to my knowledge has not changed a bit. This location (San Bernardino) the staff very nice and friend (family owned). Small location and dining room still out dated. The food, in my eyes the best. I do have to admit, a little greasy but still worth it. I feel it's one of those things, you either like it or not. I say give a try and see for yourself.

This is what fish & chips are supposed to taste like. The batter is so light and crunchy! The owner offered to help me carry my order out to my car. So friendly and welcoming!

Now here's a pretty well-hidden place in the Stater Brothers parking lot, off of Highland. If you like Long John Silver's you will love H Salt Fish & Chips. I couldn't believe how fresh the battered fish was and how amazing the taste was. Another San Bernardino treat.

Best fish and chips I have ever had. Not over salted. Fish is extremely moist and the flavor is over the moon. Place is not fancy. But who cares when the fish is so good

This place has some bomb fish and shrimps! The batter is so crunchy and they give you a decent serving! Prices are not bad at all. I feel like I stepped back into time … it’s clean and old school! And they even have Air Conditioning, not a swamp cooler but actual AC! We’ll be back!

Passed by this spot and decided to stop as I ate H Salt Fish & Chips when I was younger. It's a little bit of a sketchy neighborhood, but I could just taste the batter. As I walked in, it was small. Now that being said, I felt nostalgia as my eyes immediately noticed the Pac Man/Galaga and Donkey Kong arcade games. The smell of the fish battery was mouth watering. I ordered the fish n chips and went on my merry way to play Pac Man. The food was great and the staff was friendly.
