Had massive issues with this store and customer service, I’ve been waiting for a refund for over a month, and I’ve had about 12 emails telling me it’s been processed (shocker it hasn’t) and I had a phone call this morning saying they’ve never processed it because the store manager needs to approve it. I’ve been emailing for over a month now trying to sort it out and I have to wait 5 days between emails for a response. Can someone actually sort this out as it’s beyond ridiculous now!!!!!! I will not be shopping here again it’s dreadful

Finally found a denim skirt the right length. Sizes not good had to go up two sizes to the skirt I was wearing. Price reasonable. Very clean looking store. Don't expect to find any staff if you need any help they all stood talking at the till all four of them. Went to pay but you left stood there even though there wasn't a queue. They too busy chatting to bother about customer services. It was definitely a chore for her when I asked for a bag. Not a pleasant shopping experience

Myself, my husband and one year old son visited the Stephen’s store today 6/4/2024.
The manager needs replacing immediately she makes it very clear you are not welcome within “her store” she swore in my face several times while I had my one year old in his pushchair next to me. Looking at other comments she is the issue and it needs rectifying immediately. I have sent an email to HR hopefully necessary action is taken. I am not the first customer to be treated like this and won’t be the last. I will not continue to shop within this store while she works their.

Really poor staffing issues, no staff on tills upstairs, waiting a very long time in queues, the self service checkout always says error go to the tills, will avoid from now on.

This place is a joke. Just drove there 40min as its closest to my place. It says they closing 6pm but arrived 4:40 and nice lady informed me they actually closing in 20min which was ok... I took few clothes and sent my boyfriend upstairs to check some men clothes. He came back straight away (was 4:50) and said they told him he can't check anything as they closing. I was still downstairs and I've asked if i can try on some clothes and assure I will make it before 5. Thay said no-we are closing ... After shop i went to shop across and seen when then closed-few min after 5. It means i could easily try on some clothes and pay. Asked if I can speak to manager and they said she is next to the door. When I was leaving the store there was 5 people there (2 which was security) so just passed as they looked busy talking. I was working myself in the shop with costumers and i know it is annoying when you need to stay behind but it wasn't 5pm . 5pm is when you can close your till and then the door. My management would never allow things like this to happen and this never happened to me before.

Utterly terrible customer service the man working on the till was very arogant and rude also looked liked he did not want to be there at all! Staff didnt ask if we needed help and we couldnt clearly tell who was a staff member and who was a member of the public.-edit was because of a typo.

Visited this store today Sun 17th Sept. Lady at till downstairs was nice enough. I went upstairs, saw 2 members of staff talking, i was trying to find a bum bag for my daughter so rather than searching i went up to them both and asked to save time. The small, short, mousy brown haired female with glasses looked at me and replied 'no' rudely and abruptly. Nothing else except 'no'. They clearly don't want Customers asking questions in this store and it's quite clear the contempt this one had for them. You shouldn't be working in a shop if you can't stand customers asking simple questions. Are your Customers not more important than gabbing to another member of staff They are the people who actually keep you in a job!!

Not sure we understood the logic in asking us to self scan items when a member of staff was free and there was a queue of more than 7 behind us. The staff member didn't tell my daughter about needing to remove tags so we left the queue only to have to return for the shop assistant to remove them anyway.
